La Plata "Wildlife Refuge"
This reservoir has a designation as a National Wildlife Refuge was built in 1973. It is administered by the Water and Sewer Authority (AAA) waters used for drinking water production and recreation.
Among the birds that can be seen in the area we can find the Common Moorhen, Great Blue Heron, Dove, Paloma Turca, Pardos and Guaragua Pelicans.
One of the attractions is fishing and recreation. You can catch the following species: bass, tucanaré, sunfish, tilapia and bearded.

This project was opened as a recreational park in 2004, there are 24 gazebos, restrooms, boat ramps for access, parking, showroom. Among the utilities are borrowing cane (bamboo), nursing practices and tournaments fishing bank fishing.
