Fear God Breakthroughs!

Loving God is not something that is easily done because it's a love that is unlike any other. God IS love, but not as we have experienced from other humans which have conditions, limits (that person dies) and also sin is involved as in the situation where a person can say "i love you" but then do a completely hateful act toward that person. So we need to get acquainted http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifwith the pure love of God.
Who came up with love? God did. He actually IS love.

1 John 4:16 "...God is love..."masukkan tautan

God doesn't say, you must love and I don't love back. Nope, God loved us FIRST.

1 John 4:19
We love him, because he first loved us.

Why do we love Him? It's choice we all get to make. And if we chose to love God, the blessings, provision, hope and help we have in Him are endless, including our existence with Him in Heaven.

Deuteronomy 11:14
So if you faithfully obey the commands I am giving you today--to love the LORD your God and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul--then I will send rain on your land in its season, both autumn and spring rains, so that you may gather in your grain, new wine and oil.

And now the fearing God part. Let's look at the example of a father and a daughter. Now this is a right relationship where there has never been abuse of any kind. The father loves his daughter so much that he would die so that she may live. That is sacrificial love, the kind that Jesus demonstrated at the Cross. And the father, in all things, even things that the daughter is too young yet to understand, he is ALWAYS doing what is best for her. And just as he must not allow her to do whatever she wanted, such as run out into the street when cars are coming. And the daughter, knowing this about her father, because she has spent time with him, she fears disappointing him, fears his anger as he is big, strong and able to do more than she can even imagine. But it is because of the greatness of her father's love for her and that he has loved her before she even knew her own name, that this perfect balance of loving him and also fearing him is possible.

You might be thinking, "oh Tiffany, everyone needs to rebel and "do whatever they see as right." Well no. Actually the first instance of rebellion was Lucifer in Heaven. He rebelled against God and said that he would rule instead of the Lord. What did that get Lucifer? He was cursed, cast down from Heaven and is now still attempting to destroy God's creation (us) until the days of the book Revelation come to pass.

Revelation 15:4
Who will not fear you, O Lord, and bring glory to your name? For you alone are holy. All nations will come and worship before you, for your righteous acts have been revealed."

It's also a worthy note to add that whenever a person was even in the presence of God's angel's, that they fell on their faces on the ground and expected to die.

Think of meeting a "big" person, someone who could do much good or damage to you. Like meeting the president or a king of another country, they could do great harm to you if you misbehaved or they could do great good to you if you were honoring to them. This is a very mild form of the fear I'm referring to. More of a "reverential" fear, because of the greatness of a person. You would automatically WANT to please a person with tremendous authority. How much more if you really came close to the God of the Universe who my His command that your heart even beats and your lungs take in breath.

That is loving and fearing. But this is ONLY for the relationship with have the Lord. In all other areas, God says to his precious children, "Fear not" and depending on the translation, there are around 365 verses with "fear not" for us! We are NEVER to fear man, situations we face or even death.

Isaiah 41:10
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Psalm 56:4 In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me?

This was a long one, but I pray that is blesses you!
